About the Program
The TU Delft Summer School: Planning and Design with Water for Sustainability is hosted annually in July by the Department of Urbanism, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands. This program, now in its 9th edition, provides participants with innovative knowledge and skills to address urban development challenges in a sustainable manner.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
- Current students or recent graduates of higher education courses.
- Individuals with at least 3 years of higher education in disciplines related to urban development or the built environment.
- Applicants with backgrounds in planning, architecture, design, urbanism, geography, sociology, environmental engineering, or related fields.
Applicants must:
- Be enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and engaged in urbanism or sustainability.
- Demonstrate the ability to bring learned ideas back to their communities.
Selection Criteria
- Submission of:
- A motivation letter (800 words), explaining:
- Personal, academic, and professional aspirations.
- Unique passions, hobbies, and extracurricular activities.
- How the Summer School aligns with your goals.
- A 3-minute self-introduction video showcasing your personality and motivation.
- Proficiency in English (clearly stated in the motivation letter).
