The Pan African University (PAU) is a prestigious initiative established by the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government to provide high-quality postgraduate education aimed at fostering a prosperous, integrated, and peaceful Africa. PAU invites young, talented, and motivated individuals from across Africa and the African Diaspora to apply for Master’s programmes at its four institutes.

Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Programmes

  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (male), 35 years (female)
  • Academic Requirement: Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Upper Division or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Documents Required:
  • Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts (university & high school)
  • Valid passport or national ID
  • Clear passport-size photograph (2cm x 2cm)
  • Detailed CV
  • Recommendation letter from a university lecturer
  • Three academic references (names, emails & WhatsApp numbers)
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Candidates may be required to take a written/oral examination after pre-selection
  • Applicants for the Conference Interpreting & Translation programmes must have excellent proficiency in at least two AU official languages (Arabic, English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese)
  • Scholarship Commitment: Awardees must commit to working in Africa after graduation

  2. Confirm registration via email & create a password
  3. Log in and complete the online application
  4. Upload required documents and submit before the deadline

  • Application Opens: February 20, 2025
  • Application Deadline: March 20, 2025 (Late applications will NOT be considered.)
