The African Development Bank (AfDB) invites passionate young professionals to apply for Session 2 of the 2025 Internship Program, starting in July 2025.

This program is an excellent opportunity to engage in high-impact projects, develop valuable skills, and contribute to AfDB’s mission of driving inclusive and sustainable growth across Africa.

Gain professional, hands-on experience in one of Africa’s leading development institutions:

• Work Locations: Interns may be placed at AfDB’s Headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, regional or country offices working either remotely or on-site.
• Duration: 3 to 6 months (only once per candidate).
• Support: Monthly stipend and medical insurance provided.
• Focus Areas: Agriculture, engineering, finance, data, human capital, ICT, governance, sustainability, and more.
• Mentorship & Networking: Work alongside top professionals shaping Africa’s development agenda.

To qualify, you must:

• Be a national of an AfDB member country.
• Be no older than 30 years at the internship start date.
• Be currently enrolled in, or have recently completed (within one year), a Master’s degree program.
• Be fluent in English or French.
• Be proficient in standard software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is a plus).
• Provide proof of enrollment or graduation.
