NLNG 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship

Empowering First-Year Nigerian Students. The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) invites applications for its 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award. This initiative supports first-year students in Nigerian universities during the 2024/2025 academic session, providing resources to enhance academic performance and foster national development.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens residing in the country.
  • Be enrolled as full-time first-year students in an accredited Nigerian federal or state university during the 2024/2025 academic session.
  • Have five O-Level credits (including Mathematics and English) in one sitting (WASC, SSCE, or NECO).
  • Be aged 18 to 25 years at the time of application.
  • Not benefit from any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.
  • Not be related (spouse, child, ward, or direct relation) to an NLNG staff member.

For Applicants from NLNG Host Communities:

  • Must be indigenes of NLNG Host Communities.
  • Provide a valid identification letter from the host community and Local Government Council.Scholarship Benefits
  • Successful candidates receive N300,000 annually throughout their undergraduate studies.

Required Documents Applicants must submit the following

  • Completed application form.
  • Passport photograph (white background, recent, 450px by 450px, max 200KB). • O-Level and UTME results.
  • University and JAMB admission letters.
  • University student ID card.
  • Birth certificate (issued by the National Population Commission). • Local Government Area (LGA) identification letter.
  • National ID Number (NIN) slip. For Host Community Applicants: • LGA letter of identification.
  • Academic transcripts from 100 level, signed and stamped by the university’s registry or exams unit.
  • Community identification letter signed by a CDC Chairman or paramount ruler

  1. Visit NLNG Scholarship Portal.
  2. Register using a valid email address and mobile number.
  3. Activate your account via email.
  4. Log in, complete the application form, and upload required documents.
  5. Ensure all documents are named correctly and match the names on your application.
  6. Upload a passport photograph with a white background.
  7. Recheck your application for errors before submitting.
  8. Click Apply Now and await a confirmation email.
