About the Role

As the Manager, People Experience, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global People Experience, and manage a U.S.-based team. You’ll collaborate with global teams and oversee HR operations within the U.S. This position involves ensuring a seamless employee experience throughout the entire employee life-cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, as well as managing benefits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing U.S. HR Operations: Oversee employee life-cycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and wellbeing programs. You’ll also manage vendor relationships for smooth operations.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws. You will prepare statutory reports such as EEO-1 and state-specific pay data reports.
  • Developing and Documenting Policies: You’ll create, communicate, and implement HR policies, practices, and procedures that align with organizational goals.
  • Optimizing HR Systems: Regularly update HRIS (Dayforce) data and refine processes to improve efficiency.
  • Administering Benefits: Lead U.S. benefits programs, including managing broker relations, renewals, open enrollment, and vendor management.
  • Supporting Immigration Processes: Work with legal counsel on immigration support, including H-1B and green card sponsorships.
  • Managing Leave Policies: Oversee leave processes, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and local regulations, and collaborate with HR partners to improve leave administration.
  • Collaborating on Global Projects: Partner with global People Experience teams to harmonize programs and initiatives across the organization.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 8+ years in HR operations, with 4+ years managing teams across multiple U.S. states. You should have strong expertise in benefits administration and compliance (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA).
  • Education & Certification: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, with PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS (Dayforce), Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and work across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the nonprofit or tech sector.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk.
