About the Role
As Procurement Manager for the SWIFT Project team, you will develop and execute cost-effective procurement strategies, ensuring value for money in acquiring goods, services, and works. You will lead procurement planning, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve financial savings and operational efficiency.
- Provide expert advice on procurement best practices and supply chain management.
- Oversee procurement transactions and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor the management information system (MIS) for up-to-date record-keeping.
- Identify and mitigate risks in sourcing strategies.
- Optimize supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with SFH’s Legal Unit to draft and finalize contracts.
- Mentor and train team members while fostering effective communication.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Minimum First Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Purchasing and Supply, or related fields.
- CIPS certification and/or a Master’s Degree are added advantages.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in procurement roles.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

- Technical Skills:
- Understanding of procurement procedures and vendor contract management.
- Strong prioritization and technical report-writing abilities.
- Behavioral Competencies:
- Planning and organizational skills, with a focus on resource optimization.
