The IAP Challenge Fund empowers businesses to scale inclusive innovations by offering matching grants and tailored non-financial support. This initiative supports businesses addressing the economic challenges of underserved communities through innovative solutions.

Funding Opportunity

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for IAP grants, your business must:

  1. Innovate Inclusively: Provide products, services, or business models that directly benefit economically disadvantaged populations.
  2. Target Markets: Operate in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Uganda, or Zambia.
  3. Show Commercial Viability: Be post-pilot, revenue-generating, and equipped with robust financial systems for timely reporting.
  4. Co-Invest: Commit at least 51% of the project cost via cash or in-kind contributions.
  5. Demonstrate Scalability: Exhibit potential for sustainable growth and impact at scale
  6. Comply with Regulations: Adhere to local laws, ethical standards, and best practices, including labor, environmental, and anti-corruption measures.

Assessment Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Company Profile: Strength and readiness of the business.
  • Inclusive Business Potential: Relevance and scalability of the innovation.
  • Innovation: Originality and market need addressed.
  • Social Impact: Contribution to improving lives.
  • Gender Integration: Promoting gender equality.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Minimizing environmental impact.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Efficient use of resources.
  • Additionality: Value added by IAP support.
