- Applicants who apply by 10 March 2025 and are awarded a scholarship will be notified by end of May 2025
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements
- Candidates must hold or expect to achieve:
- A first-class undergraduate degree or its equivalent, or
- A distinction in a Master’s degree (or provide evidence of high performance leading to a distinction).
- For degrees earned outside the UK, candidates should confirm their qualifications meet the entry criteria by contacting the Admissions team.
Additional Requirements
- Open to candidates from Imperial College, the UK, and worldwide, with no nationality restrictions.
- Applicants must be new Ph.D. students (currently registered Imperial Ph.D. students are not eligible).
- Both full-time and part-time Ph.D. study options are supported.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full Tuition Fees: Covered entirely by the scholarship.
- Living Allowance: £21,400 annually.
- Additional Funding: £2,000 annually for other expenses.

2. Personal Statement:
- Maximum 2 pages (~1000 words).
- Highlight academic and research achievements, as well as details of your planned Ph.D. research.
