The Hungarian Government is offering an incredible opportunity for students from eligible countries to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aquaculture and Animal Husbandry Engineering. These programs, conducted in English, will take place at top Hungarian universities for the 2025-26 academic year.

1. Master in Aquaculture
• Institution: Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő
2. Master in Animal Husbandry Engineering
• Institution: University of Debrecen, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management, Debrecen
Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a national of one of the eligible countries (e.g., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, South Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen, and others).
- Academic Excellence: Strong academic record in previous studies.
- English Language Proficiency: Required for courses taught in English.
- Motivation: A clear and strong motivation for pursuing these programs.
- Good Health
- Age: Preference given to applicants under the age of 30.
Application and Selection Process
1. Phase 1:
• Applicants must submit complete application dossiers to FAO by 28 February 2025. Incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications will not be considered.
• FAO will pre-screen applications and forward them to the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, which will then send them to the respective universities.
2. Phase 2:
• Shortlisted candidates may be asked to take an English language exam (written or oral).
• Universities will conduct a further selection process. Only selected students will be notified by the Ministry.
