GLOBED, a distinguished Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree, continues under the Erasmus+ framework until 2029, offering students the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship over the next four intakes. The program is jointly managed by four top-tier universities and centrally administered by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).

- Self-Funded Application Window: February 24 – May 9, 2025
- Appeal Period for Scholarship Applicants: April 16 – April 18, 2025

How to Apply
1. Create a UAB ID Number
- If you have previously studied or applied at UAB, use your existing UAB ID.
- If not, register for a new ID via the provided application portal.
2. Access the Application Portal
- Select “MU Erasmus Mundus in Education Policies for Global Development” when applications open.
3. Complete Personal and Academic Details
- Provide all necessary personal and academic information.
4. Upload Required Documents (PDF format, max 4MB each)
- Identification: Passport (ensure validity).
- Curriculum Vitae: Only Europass CV format is accepted.
Bachelor’s Diploma & Transcripts:
• Submit copies of your degree and academic transcripts.
- If you are in your final year, an updated transcript suffices.
- English Proficiency Certificate (C1 Level Required):
- Accepted tests: TOEFL, Cambridge, or IELTS (Academic).
- If requesting a waiver or submitting later, follow the provided instructions.
Essay:
- Topic set by the Academic Board.
- One page max (Times New Roman, size 11, 1.5 spacing).
Motivation Letter:
- One page max, same formatting as the essay.
Recommenders’ Contact Information:
- Include a PDF with the name, role, organization, and email of two recommenders.
- Recommendation letters are not required; contacts will be verified if shortlisted.
- Erasmus Sworn Declaration (For Scholarship Applicants Only):
- Use the official template to declare past Erasmus Mundus participation.
5. Download Confirmation Document
- Once submitted, download proof of a successfully completed application.
- No confirmation email will be sent.
Appeal Process for Non-Selected Applicants
- If not selected, you can appeal by submitting new supporting information.
- Appeals must be sent via email to info@globed.eu within the following dates:
- Scholarship Call: April 16 – April 18, 2025
- Self-Funded Call: May 31 – June 7, 2025
- The GLOBED Selection Board will carefully review appeals before publishing the final list of accepted students.
