The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), in partnership with the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat, is offering an exciting opportunity for young leaders from around the world to participate in the Sixth Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
This prestigious event will take place on May 27-28, 2025, at UN City in Copenhagen, Denmark. It will bring together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to drive transformative solutions for a sustainable future.

Who Can Apply?
MGCY (Major Group for Children and Youth) is accepting nominations for:
- One fully funded spot for a youth participant from the Global South
- At least one self-funded spot for a youth participant from any region

Selection Process
The MGCY Coordination Team (CT) and YOUNGO (Climate Change Constituency) will jointly review applications. Only candidates whose bios demonstrate a clear connection to climate action and sustainable development will be considered.
