The Japan Internship Program (JIP) 2025 offers an exciting opportunity to intern with small and medium-sized Japanese enterprises and gain valuable cross-cultural and industry experience, either remotely or in-person.

• Fully funded by the Japanese government includes; flights, accommodation, and a daily allowance.
• Intern at innovative Japanese SMEs seeking global connections and insights.
• Build international work experience and professional networks.
• Gain career-boosting training in business Japanese, cross-cultural communication, and crisis management.

• Nationals of OECD/DAC-listed developing countries (excluding China).
• Aged between 18 and 40 by August 25, 2025.
• Students or recent graduates from technical colleges or universities.
• Possess JLPT N3 level Japanese or English proficiency.
• Not currently residing in Japan or previously selected (2016–2024).
• Must provide recommendation letters and relevant certifications.

Online Internship:

• Intern remotely from your home country.
• Receive a daily allowance equivalent to ¥1,000.
• Tech support provided (PC, internet, communication tools).

In-Person Internship:

• Travel to Japan, expenses fully covered.
• Daily stipend of ¥3,000, plus accommodation and local transport.
• Visa support, round-trip economy air tickets, and mobile phone provided.

3. Submit required documents: enrollment/graduation certificates, language scores, recommendation letters.
4. Participate in online interviews (Japanese or English).
5. Final matching with a host company based on your skills and preferences.

• Once matched with a host company, withdrawal is not allowed.
• Completion certificate is only issued after full participation.
