ImpactHER, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering African female entrepreneurs by bridging the gender business financing gap, is hiring a Grant Writer/Programs Officer in Lagos, Nigeria. If you’re passionate about driving impactful programs and securing funding to support entrepreneurial growth, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Grant Writing & Fundraising
• Source and apply for funding opportunities.
• Draft compelling grant proposals tailored to donor requirements.
• Write program funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Program Development & Management
• Organize and manage programs aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Develop new programs to support strategic objectives.
• Create and oversee budgets and operational plans for programs.
• Implement changes and interventions to meet project goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
• Write accurate program reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders for project transparency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• Experience:
• 3-4 years in grant writing and program management.
• Proven success in securing grants from USAID and similar organizations.
• Skills:
• Strong writing, research, and PowerPoint design skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and thrive in a dynamic environment.
