Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is offering the prestigious Africa Scholarship Programme (ASP), providing talented and motivated African students the opportunity to pursue a fully-funded Master’s degree. This program supports capacity-building efforts across Africa by empowering scholars to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The scholarship covers the following for the full two-year MSc program (24 months):

• Round-trip travel to/from the Netherlands.
• Monthly living allowance.
• Full tuition fee waiver.
• Visa application costs.
• Comprehensive health insurance.

Applicants must meet all the following requirements to qualify:

1. 1. Be a citizen of an African country.
2. 2. Apply for one of Wageningen University’s MSc programs by 1 February 2025.

3. Receive unconditional admission to the MSc program.
4. Demonstrate academic excellence:
   • A First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 80%.
5. Preference is given to those without a prior Master’s degree.

The ASP selection process is invitation-only. Candidates cannot directly apply for the scholarship but are selected after completing their MSc application.

• 1st February 2025: Deadline for MSc application.
• 13th March 2025: Shortlisted candidates (approximately 40) are invited for the ASP selection process.
• 25th March 2025: Deadline to submit the assignment.
• 8th April 2025: Notification of candidates selected for interviews (around 20).
• 22nd April- 1 May 2025: Online interviews conducted via MS Teams.
• 8th May 2025: Final selection results announced.
