Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, startups must meet the following criteria:

  • Privately owned and profit-oriented.
  • Registered in Kenya, Rwanda, or Tanzania, or plan to register before funding starts (Ivory Coast applicants apply here; calls for Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa open in June 2025).
  • Completed startup phase with initial revenues generated.
  • Provide at least one annual financial statement.
  • Convince financiers with a viable business and financial plan (matching funds required).
  • Secured less than €2 million in prior funding.
  • Demonstrate high growth potential and achieve break-even within three years.
