The CIMPA-ICTP “Research in Pairs” Fellowship offers mathematicians from developing countries a unique opportunity to collaborate with European colleagues on well-defined research projects. This initiative aims to foster international partnerships and enhance mathematical research capabilities.

• Hold a Ph.D. in mathematics, obtained at least three years prior to application.
• Employed in academic institutions within a developing country for the past five years.
• Collaborate with a European researcher based in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, or Switzerland.

• Financial Support: Funding up to €10,000 to cover personal expenses, including transportation, accommodation, insurance, and visa costs during the visit.
• Research Collaboratio: Engage in a minimum five-week research stay at the European colleague’s institution.
• Educational Contribution: Record an approximately 8-hour mathematics mini-course in French or English, targeting master’s or early Ph.D. students.
