The Information Society Project (ISP) at Yale University is now accepting applications for its prestigious ISP Resident Fellowships for the academic year 2025-2026. This fellowship is a unique opportunity for recent graduates of law or Ph.D. programs aiming to pursue academic careers in cutting-edge fields.
Research Focus Areas
Applicants’ research must align with ISP’s core areas, such as:
- Artificial Intelligence
- The Digital Public Sphere, including:

Fellowship Details
- Engagement & Expectations:
- Fellows must be present at the ISP for three days per week and actively participate in all ISP events.
- Fellows will contribute to ISP programming and produce at least two academic works annually.
- Residency: Strongly recommended to live in or near New Haven, CT.
- Duration & Compensation:
- Fellowship runs from July 1, 2025, for one year, with possible renewal based on performance.
- Includes a $70,000 annual salary, Yale benefits, a travel stipend, and access to Yale University’s extensive resources.
