The Nobel Prize Teacher Summit invites educators from across the globe to join a prestigious event in Stockholm, Sweden, from March 26–29, 2025. This year’s theme, “The Future of Democracy,” will focus on equipping teachers to inspire young minds with the skills needed to shape and safeguard democratic societies.
Teachers will engage with Nobel laureates, top scientists, and peace activists to explore critical topics such as democracy, trust, and critical thinking. With financial support available from the Swedish Institute (SI), this program offers a unique platform for educators to gain insights, exchange ideas, and contribute to global education.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship
Teachers from Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Moldova, the Philippines, Ukraine, Vietnam, Tanzania, and Zambia can apply for financial support if they meet the following requirements:
- Professionally active teachers (pre-school to college level)
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and reading)
- Ability to pay for round-trip airfare and initial transfers (reimbursed upon arrival)
- Commitment to organize a Nobel Prize Teacher Summit Hub in their home country after returning
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Coverage for visa, travel, transfers, meals, and insurance
- Accommodation for four nights in Stockholm
- SEK funding (varies by region):
• Africa & Asia: SEK 20,000 (EUR 1,630/USD 1,650)
• Latin America: SEK 25,000 (EUR 2,040/USD 2,065)
• MENA (Egypt): SEK 15,000 (EUR 1,220/USD 1,240)
• Europe: SEK 7,000 (EUR 570/USD 575) - Access to workshops, study visits, and conference sessions
