The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is calling on passionate youth leaders worldwide to join its Youth Strategy Advisory Group. This is a powerful opportunity to influence global migration policies and help develop IOM’s new Youth Strategy.

Becoming part of this group means taking an active role in shaping strategies that impact millions. Members will:

• Advise and Guide: Serve as a sounding board to provide valuable feedback on migration strategies.

The group operates on a voluntary basis for 12 months, with monthly remote meetings held every third Monday (1:00 – 3:00 PM CET).

IOM seeks committed individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Age Range: Between 18-35 years old by the application deadline.
• Leadership Background: Proven experience in youth engagement or advocacy.
• Migration Focus: Knowledge or interest in migration issues, including the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Time Commitment: Willing to dedicate at least 8 hours per month.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of English for group activities.
• Skill Set: Analytical and writing skills for contributing to strategy drafts.

• Youth representatives from organizations or communities.
• Activists, journalists, or advocates passionate about migration.
• Researchers studying migration issues.
